DAY WISE RIDING PLAN

Day 1: Arrival in Manali

Reach Manali by afternoon and check-in to your hotel.

Welcome briefing, bike allocation (if hired), and document verification.

Explore Mall Road or relax after your journey.

Overnight stay in Manali.

Highlight: Scenic introduction to the Himalayas.

Day 2: Manali to Jispa (Approx. 140 km)

Ride through Atal Tunnel and witness the dramatic change in landscape.

En route: Keylong and beautiful Lahaul Valley.

Reach Jispa and check-in to riverside camps.

Evening bonfire (weather permitting) and group bonding.

Highlight: Atal Tunnel, Lahaul ride, riverside camping.

Day 3: Jispa to Sarchu (Approx. 90 km)

Ride across Baralacha La Pass (16,500 ft).

Stunning views and high-altitude terrain.

Reach Sarchu and settle into camps.

Note: High altitude acclimatization day. Stay hydrated.

Day 4: Sarchu to Leh (Approx. 250 km)

Cross Gata Loops (21 hairpin bends), Nakee La and Lachung La.

Journey through More Plains and Tanglang La (17,480 ft).

Arrive in Leh by evening and rest.

Highlight: One of the most scenic and adventurous days of the expedition.

Day 5: Leh Local Sightseeing

Visit Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace, Magnetic Hill, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib.

Free time at Leh Market for shopping and café hopping.

Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 6: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La (Approx. 130 km)

Ride via Khardung La (18,380 ft) – one of the highest motorable roads.

Explore Hunder Sand Dunes and enjoy double-humped camel rides.

Visit Diskit Monastery.

Overnight in Nubra Valley camps.
Highlight: Desert in the Himalayas, stunning starry night.

Day 7: Nubra to Turtuk and Back (Approx. 160 km round trip)

Ride to the last village of India – Turtuk.

Explore Balti culture, orchards, and local traditions.

Return to Nubra for overnight stay.

Day 8: Nubra to Pangong Lake via Shyok (Approx. 170 km)

Ride through rough yet scenic terrain.

Reach Pangong Lake (14,000 ft) and enjoy the surreal landscape.

Overnight lake-side camps.

Highlight: Ever-changing hues of Pangong Lake.

Day 9: Pangong to Hanle (Approx. 160 km)

Ride along the LAC route via Chushul.

Visit Hanle Monastery and Astronomical Observatory (subject to permission).

Ideal spot for astrophotography.

Stay in local guesthouses.

Day 10: Hanle to Tso Moriri to Kargil (Approx. 290 km)

Ride to Tso Moriri via Nyoma and Mahe Bridge.

Brief halt at Karzok village.

Continue toward Kargil via remote mountain roads.

Overnight stay in Kargil.

Note: Long ride day. Be prepared for high-altitude conditions.

Day 11: Kargil to Srinagar via Sonamarg (Approx. 200 km)

Final stretch of the journey through Zoji La Pass.

Quick stops at Drass War Memorial and Sonamarg Meadows.

Reach Srinagar and trip concludes.
